(ILMHB) He Wants to Give Me The World

9 Dec

I love my husband Mike because he wants to give me the world, and even though he can’t (because no one can give anyone the world), that has never stopped him from trying.  He gives me everything that I need, always, and he gives me a lot of what I want, and always wishes that he could give me more, even though I make sure that he knows that he is all that I really want.

I have an “addiction” to buying pens.  Not sure why I do, but I do.  So today when we had to go to Walmart for a few things, we naturally stopped by the office supply section, and I picked out a pack of pens to get.  My husband said that he wished that we could affort to get me all the pens in the world that I wanted, because he knows how much I enjoy getting new pens.  It meant a lot to me that he said that because I thought it was so sweet and thoughtful.

He knows that I really want a Kindle for Christmas.  Yesterday was his work Christmas party and a Kindle was one of the big gifts, so he tried to get it so that he could give it to me as a surprise.  He was so bummed that he wasn’t able to get it because he wanted so bad to be able to surprise me with something that he knew how much I wanted.  I thought it was such a sweet gesture that he would try to get a gift for me instead of for himself at his own Christmas party.

Overall my husband is always wishing that he could give me more than what we can actually do for each other, and I wish that I could do more for him too.  But like I said, him being an amazing husband is more than enough for me! ❤

My Husband The Gentleman

One of the things that I love the most about my husband is how kind-hearted he typically is.  He’s just an overall sweet guy who goes out of his way to help others in any way that he can.

The other day we stopped to pick up some lunch to bring home.  I had stayed in the car while my husband went inside to get the food because I was on the phone.  I was watching for him to come out, and as he was coming out, an older handicapped woman was walking up to go in and my hubby went back to hold open the door for her.  His random act of kindness put a big smile on my face, and I let him know how sweet and thoughtful I thought it was of him.  It wasn’t anything big, but these days a lot of people wouldn’t make the effort to take those few steps back to help someone.

But that’s just the type of guy that my husband typically is.  He goes out of his way to try to not hurt anyones feelings.  He’ll take time out of what he’s doing to try to help you with anything you need.  He’s just such an amazing man, and I’m proud to be his wife.
